Family First

The program supports families in crisis who are at risk of being involved with Protections Services by providing in-home support and counseling to families requiring skill building. The program allows the community to access the services with referrals from independent families and supporting agencies. Family First is an Accredited Program through the Canadian Accreditation Council

Housing First

 The intent of the program is to address all housing  and homelessness issues in Edson and surrounding area, with the spectrum of the Housing First Model.

Free Gym

 The Edson Friendship Centre operates a fully functional gym. The gym is opened to the public, and is a free service.

Brighter Futures

A Centre based program that is designed to overcome barriers to optimal growth and development of at-risk children between the ages of birth to six years. The program offers a Centre-based program for children, parent education, outreach services and satellite programs through various partnering agencies.

Play and Learn

An accredited Preschool program for 4 year old children  that works on Kindergarten readiness in a play based environment.

Women Infant and Nutrition

The WIN program offers pre and post natal support to families including free food coupons and prenatal vitamins. Supported by Health Canada, WIN offers services in Edson, Hinton and Jasper.
